| I feel that, with all of the thoughts of love flying around, especially today, we need to think about something. Think about all of the people you love, whether in a marriage way, or in a sibling way, or in an “I really appreciate you” way, or whatever other way you choose. Think about all of these people. Think, then, briefly, what would happen if you never got to see them again? Would they have known that you loved them? Would they know that they made someone happy? Or would they have been oblivious? Here’s your challenge: Tell someone that you love them. At least one person, but more if you think you can handle it. You can do this any way you want to: a note, sign language, a hug, or just plain out spoken. I know it’s trite to do this on Valentine’s Day, but we often only think about those we love in a marriage sort of way, not mentors, friends, family, or people like that. Go for it, and good luck. | | |
| "Hi Luckystar205! It's been 1000 (wow, that's a big number) days since you joined Xanga... won't you support us by going Premium?" Didn't you think 200 was a big number? Happy anniversary, Xanga page. What makes scary movies so appealing? What makes some scarier than others (within the same type, ie psychological, gore, etc.)? Is it the plot? The actors? The atmosphere? Or is it how possible they are? I definately like them, but I don't know why. Do you realize how strange humans are? Some things we consider normal are actually really weird? Do you see snails viewing the current horror feature: "The Spilled Salt"? Humans are a bizarre species... Caledonia I don't know if you can see The changes that have come over me In these last few days I've been afraid That I might drift away I've been telling old stories, singing songs That make me think about where I've come from That's the reason why I seem So far away today
[Chorus:] Let me tell you that I love you That I think about you all the time Caledonia, you're calling me, now I'm going home But if I should become a stranger Know that it would make me more than sad Caledonia's been everything I've ever had
Now I have moved and I've kept on moving Proved the points that I needed proving Lost the friends that I needed losing Found others on the way I have kissed the fellas and left them crying Stolen dreams, yes, there's no denying I have traveled hard, sometimes with conscience flying Somewhere with the wind
[Chorus]
Now I'm sitting here before the fire The empty room, the forest choir The flames have cooled, don't get any higher They've withered, now they've gone But I'm steady thinking, my way is clear And I know what I will do tomorrow When hands have shaken, the kisses float Then I will disappear
[Chorus]
Caledonia's been everything I've ever had Caledonia's been everything I've ever had Caledonia's been everything I've ever had
| This is going to be an amazing year. Don't forget that, okay? You're going to have fun, it's going to be amazing. God loves you and I love you and that's the way it should be. Have an amazing 2008. In the morning when you rise I bless the sun, I bless the skies I bless your lips, I bless your eyes My blessing goes with you
In the nighttime when you sleep Oh I bless you while a watch I keep As you lie in slumber deep My blessing goes with you
This is my prayer for you There for you, ever true Each, every day for you In everything you do
And when you come to me And hold me close to you I bless you And you bless me, too
When your weary heart is tired If the world would leave you uninspired When nothing more of love's desired My blessing goes with you
When the storms of life are strong When you're wounded, when you don't belong When you no longer hear my song My blessing goes with you
This is my prayer for you There for you, ever true Each, every day for you In everything you do
And when you come to me And hold me close to you I bless you And you bless me, too
I bless you And you bless me, too
| I kind of give up. In general. Not that that means anything significant, but it has made my life so much easier. I've stopped caring so much in the bad way, as in what people think of me (although I would appreciate it if some people would cut me some slack andrealize that I make mistakes, and that I don't like it when they flout this anymore than they would like it if I did so...) I don't really know anymore, anyway. About anything, really...so asking won't help much, but do so anyway! ;-D A World of Peace Melinda Carroll In my hand I hold a crystal ball that’s filled with snow I shake it up and look inside as gentle snowflakes fall Upon a sleeping village where Life is lived with ease: A world of peace. In the village People there are caring and they’re kind And all the children in their beds Are safe and warm inside In my little world of peace: In my crystal ball: There is love. Imagine if we were to hold this planet in our hands And shape it any way we wish: Create it once again. I wonder what it’d take for us to learn and to forgive If only in our hearts we find This peaceful place to live. In the season of rebirth The songs that lift the air Are filled with hope and miracles And love beyond compare In all these possibilities: Wonders never cease. A world of peace. A world of peace. A world of peace. In my hand I hold a crystal ball that’s filled with snow. A world of peace. I shake it up and look inside as gentle snowflakes fall. A world of peace. In my hand I hold a crystal ball that’s filled with snow. A world of peace. I shake it up and look inside as gentle snowflakes fall. A world of peace. | | |
